WW2- attached to the King George V's own Bengal Sappers and Miners.

1 May 1947 from active service to be rank of Major with seniority from 1 May 1944 and is granted Honorary rank of Lt. Colonel.

27 May 1957  retires from Territorial Reseves having reached their maximum age limit. Retaining his Honorary Rank.

1916- he attended Campbell College, Belfast.

and Rowland Morrow Byers (1905-2000)

Frank was father of three sons, one of whom died in infancy.
